The A3 Report is a process that generates very in-ordered methodology towards business situation. Based on the survey, it could take from at least 10 minutes to an average of 45 minutes to get done a brief A3 solution towards business crisis.
I think that in regards to the time estimate it is very important to start the A3 early, that way as you go along and collect more information it is only an update to the A3 (taking less time) and allows for revision levels so the progress on the process could also be documented through the A3 report.
Right, start early is one reason why I think A3 Report would be especially important dealing with some Public Relation Crisis, because the company have to quickly give out a responsible response to the public, which is exactly one advantage of A3 method. Actually, when I see this Toyota topic, my first reaction is thinking about the Toyota recall crises, Toyota must learnt a lesson from then.
